Any Sony Rx100 series users on here? How do you rate them? I have a trip coming up where every gram is going to matter , but I don’t want to not have a camera at all , so I’m working through possible compact camera options. The Rx100vii is still available ( though infrequent in being stocked) and would at least offer an evf.
The other one is the Ricoh GR ( but obviously fixed lens) or Fuji X100vi ( fixed lens and not overly small). Only the Fuji is weather sealed but the others are so small that they’ll drop in a coat pocket easily if the weather gets ugly.
There’s also the TG-7 , which would allow shooting in the rain , and is small , but is a smaller sensor and “only” 12mp.
Decisions decisions.
RX100 produces great images for its size (legit pocketable). Interface so-so but very flexible.
Perhaps a bit frail – I had issues with the lens mechanism sometimes not wanting to open or close fully.

Corner inlet was dead still today, a huge shame my battery ran out after about 8 shots.
It goes from 3 bars to nothing in an instant.
