Photography boffins…
Can anyone recommend a simple to use, ‘point and shoot’ style camera that is an upgrade from using an iPhone?
Just needs to be portable, easy to use and better image quality than a phone. Zoom and simple image transfer (to a phone) would be imortant too.
Sony RX100 series of cameras.

Wandering around Olinda with the old X20 Fuji. I’ve kinda come to the conclusion that a modern version of this camera would be my ideal Camino carry, but no one really makes its equivalent. The Rx100vii is close but the zoom lens is electronic driven, not manual. Ditto the Leica D-Lux ( surprisingly a very close match in size and feel - but not price 
) and Lumix L10.

I like both shots but the top one has such an ethereal quality about it…just a stunning pic.

Yeah , the lighting for the top pic scenery just worked out.
2nd one looked ok “live” but the little palm top in the distance just wasn’t big enough in the frame for a 28mm focal length.
