The Getaway at the corner took so much of my money between gig sets….
Is there any love for the LED pinball machines? Seeking advice.
Theoretically you get up to 1,300 tables at about half the price of a mechanical table.
And you can add solenoids to get the mechanical table feel.
That Rolling Stones pinny is pretty rare and is highly prized amongst hard core (me!), cashed up (not me!) Stones collectors.
I believe that, when you start it up, it plays “Start Me Up”.
Can confirm.

I have wondered about this. There’s also the benefit of not having to commit to the maintenance and just…freaking homework that owning a pinball machine would bring.
Having access to all those tables sounds wonderful, but…I think you’d have to look at it as a completely separate thing.
I just can’t imagine that a VR version could ever feel like something as analogue and real and visceral as a pinball machine, and that’s really the attraction for me.
Pretty much nailed on the head, I play pinball games on my phone and have used some great VR tables but the appeal of pinball is it is real.
Every game is different depending on cleaning waxing rubbers etc like a car, virtual is so routine just follow a formula like a video game and gets old quick
This happened to me tonight, never happened in my 55 years of life, in a multi-ball when both balls lodged exactly the same time between flippers and could not flip, had to nudge them out
I thought it was a pic of a skeletor chick with chrome boobs
Who could forget this bad boy?

This is the one you want, although the video didn’t show much of the video screen which looked like it had some great content.
I went to the shops to buy a fish to put on the barbie. It took me 3 hours. Noticed this kook World of Warcraft nerd shop and it had pinnies. Bloke playing said, “there’s a credit on the one down the end” Godzilla is my new favourite:
Location?
Techzone Geelong, Yarra St. Come on down for a session, I’ll put you up for the night. @Klawdy will buy the beers
In the rec room at a former workplace of mine, we had a pinny that was free to play.
The lunchtime grudge matches were legendary, particularly after a visiting sparky showed us how to disable the tilt mechanism.
Without a thought I was deploying the power launch. Pull back the pin while holding with the other hand’s thumb ready to fling assist the ball into play.
I have only now realised why I do that
Just gotta smack it with the palm of the hand, gotta look tough.
The pointy ones were a ■■■■■.
The thumb flick is waaay more stylish. Pinball is all about style. Toughness is overrated.
What degree of pelvic thrust you use?
It is important to have a zen state and be ready to move the machine without tilting. For this to work one must have an understanding of the “coefficient of mu” (𝜇) which is the coefficient of friction, between the floor and the feet of the machine.
