I would install Batocera on it.
I think Retropie hasn’t heen updated for a few years
Retropie was my go to but not anymore I now use Batocera which gets updated with the laser cores and emulators
I will be happy to play Moon Patrol
I was flicking through random games on mine a couple of days ago and came across Chiller.
WTAF?
Hope this image is okay for blitz…
Also, going to the Pinball Expo at the Matthew Flinders on November 7.
I see a lot of Wimms in that photo.
Which new games took your fancy ?
I don’t know what’s new and what’s not, but I played a prototype of Lost In Space.
I loooooooved Labyrinth. The voice acting and video were pure nostalgia.
Mrs Wim enjoyed a new Jaws one for the same reason.
I generally find the music ones to be disappointing, but one of the two Elton John ones was really good.
I didn’t get a chance to play any of the Harry Potter ones, which was disappointing. They looked good.
But most of all I enjoyed playing the classics.
Fish Tales, Getaway, and the GOAT…Addams Family.
Edit: and I liked Pulp Fiction, too. Retro but modern. A bit like the movie.
Oh, and Black Knight is always fun.
Yeah HP is on my wish list to play it has had some great reviews.
My friend has JAWS thats good fun.
I used to have a FishTales played it too death, still a fun game.
Did they have the new Evil Dead by Spooky, their next game is BeetleJuice with a trailer release on the 14th, I am on the short list for that one. Evil Dead sold out in hours!
Can’t beat the classics Wim, bit like music ![]()
Didn’t get a chance to play Evil Dead.
Wish you’d reccomended some!
Wish you told me you were going! or did you ?
Adds Family is great, but with no autosave it can’t be the goat.
And Twilight Zone is clearly the goat anyway….
I do like that weird ball.
A few posts up. ![]()
I have Medieval Madness as my fav, been playing a bit of Rick and Morty and thats pretty cool
A recent Live Aid stage extravaganza in London put noses out of joint when the producer got permission from the Who to include Pinball Wizard as part of the show and then deleting the line “Deaf, dumb and blind kid” so as not to upset any deaf dumb and blind kids.
Mrs Azza and I were in Budapest last year and found our way to the Flippermuzeum, which houses (mostly) vintage pinball and arcade machines including the only one designed and built in Budapest. For approx $25 AUD you get free play for as long as you like - and there’s a bar. Was a lot of fun.
