Basically there are sections of the Muslim society (males) that are using Sharia Law and are being allowed to do so in conjunction with civil law. It is written from the perspective of some mulsim women who are facing trouble under the Sharia Law.
However i do agree with your premise that SL is not being truly considered under Australian law for general society. However it is having an impact within the Muslim community to the negative.

The ALA are against any form of Sharia Law being imposed upon or encouraged in Australia. That’s it in a nutshell.,
