It must be an amazing fantasy world that you live in to be able to connect those two sets of circumstances.
Dunkley tried to get to Essendon way back in 2020ā¦it didnāt go through obviously, so he eventually headed to Brisbaneā¦where he has won another two flags.
Merrett tried to get out last year.
There is zero connection there!!!

Iāve been seriously following this club, in the sense of regularly attending matches, since 1961. For a long time I regarded the 1970s as the lowest point we ever reached.
It no longer is. The period since 2019, and particularly since 2022, is worse. Far, far worse. As things stand I see very little hope. We have one A grade player. We have 1 potential top class key position player.
We have very little else.
And we have a ā ā ā ā coach who canāt get our players playing with any heart at all.

I was disappointed with the defence today. Conceded seven goals from centre clearances which were effect one-on-one contests, rather than streaming out of defence and lacing out a pass. We miss Ridley, and it was madness not to put Redman straight into the AFL team.
doubtful, that would be enough.
Sharp had more, 19 disposals
But it will start to build a case, if they can string some games together.

It went as most of us expected.
Some green shoots there though. Liked Sharp and Robey getting midfield, they belong. Farrow great composure. Kondo needs more mass but has a crack. Caddy continues to impress, just needs to work on accuracy. Persist with Nguyen.
Reid worries me though. Slow and not great one on one. Cox defeated soundly.
We just have to be patient. Itās going to be a while before we get back up
