B.) It’s not only having data limits, which are often ■■■■■■ on phones, but poor 3G or 4G service, where things take a decade to load is a bigger pain, (We don’t all live in cities) & …
C.) The posting of photos in their own thread works fantastically well.
Also, 1 image is not so much of a problem, it’s the half dozens that make life hard.

gifs are essentially anywhere from 30 to hundreds of images loaded on top of each other, hence why itseasy to get 20mb ones. Webm is a container format that presents it as video, which in that same 20mb clip can have much better quality and longer videos.
iOS 10 is going to support videos over GIFs natively.

I will always load multiple game photos in their own discussion thread to avoid people having to wait for a dozen or so pics to load.
I know the joys of poor bandwidth. 3G/4G…ha! Try slow DSL, not even DSL2. I live at the end of a phone line that should be too far from the exchange to run DSL over, but as it does work we keep it because it is better than satellite which was our only other option. I used to have a problem with the neighbours electric fence dropping my connection but thankfully the phone line now is up on the poles that it was supposed to be on in the first place.
