Pre-season training 2019-11-25 Monday

That’s not what the term second rate means, that is second tier. Dogs are no where near inferior to us, they are on the same level generally speaking.

If you’re heading down to Tulla and writing up a report, can you post one word at a time to maintain the momentum of the thread title?

Not sure that’s fair BF and unnecessarily personal. You are basically calling him a wife basher.

We all know what he means and it isn’t about violence.

So I’m a violent woman basher now

Just ignore him Nino.

With respect IT, this fool is saying he likes the idea of a coach punching someone in the face for poor performance. If he is saying that he prefers a coach to be tough on players and punish them on the track with more training, or dropping them to the reserves etc, then that is what he should say.

No-one should condone violence or make excuses for it.

He isn’t talking about violence like you are claiming. He is merely saying that Bevo gets quite angry after a loss and would not mince his words when speaking to the players. It is simply a figure of speech. Sure maybe he could say it differently, but it is obvious he is not saying what you are making it out to be.

Put the attention seeker on ignore & be done with it.

If we want to push forward we need to start using parish and McGrath as genuine on-ballers, not rookies who get a go every now and again.

Totally agree Che, they need to start being our midfield generals driving the game forward for us. Using them occasionally then dumping them either on the bench or other spots on the ground is pretty silly.

as i said last year the good coaches put the fear of god into there players (have a crossed a line there sorry if offended anyone as well lol )

They dont mince words talk about learnings and will publicly shame the players after a poor performance!

What happened when our CEO had a crack at the players he had to apologise…

Ok back to the weight bench everyone!

Three grand finals, two flags. The sixties were great for bomber fans.

I remember that thinking yes a ceo who wont accept poor performances but then had to apologise.

I knew right then that Xavier needs to go

This is perhaps the most absurd thing I’ve read on here and that’s saying something. What a ridiculous and unfair overreaction to what was clearly just a figure of speech.

Recent examples??

We didn’t play how we wanted, … we have some issues we really need to address,… no doubt we played poorly, … we really need to do better defensively, … our midfield need to work harder etc etc, is about all I hear from all Coaches publicly theses days.

Not much different to what ours does, . and have.

Thanks Teach!

So how was training?

Can you ■■■■■■ keep this rehashing of opinions in the twenty or so Threads where you’ve already been discussing these points?

If a team reflects it’s supporters it’s clear our biggest problems are
A) lack of focus,
b) a willingness to put your own posts ahead of the team, and
C) a shortage of A grade posters

  • and there’s a distinct lack of humour/ jokes/puns etc.
