I’m a fan but he is not really a genuine KPP
He’s probably Mitch Brown with more talent and less consistency
Smith is far from being our worst kick for that matter neither is Guelfi
I could have easily done a best 18-19 with some holes left open but hey
Anyway I didnt say bring in 22 elite kicks there are still roles that need to be filled other than just that but we have very very few with above average disposal unfortunately
@WindsockBoy I put him in and out a couple of times, but I dont think he provides enough as an actual defender to have him and Hurls who is in the same boat so went with the senior of them for now but hopefully that transition would be happening pretty soon
They’re two of our worst four or five regulars, going at 55 & 58% by foot across career

Smiths Quite a good kick if/when he gets it on the outside imo
DE probably worsened by the hack kicks from congestion (which drives me nuts)
Guelfi I think puts himself under more pressure than is really there and fluffs a few too many but has the ability to be a pretty decent kick also

But also would be nice to have average/role players all across the park, who are decent to good kicks.

Don’t mind it but probably lacking some run/pace from defence and same issue on the bench

You could have Redman & Irish push back from the wing and support the D.
I was tempted to drop Hooker for Guelfi for the reason you mentioned, however, I think he still has a bit of footy left (not much). Zaka and Guelfi possibly fighting for that defensive support role.
I had a pretty different lineup tbh
But dont mind that one overall
