Preseason Training 11/11/24 (and onwards till someone creates a new thread)

I’m well past that.

I essentially want us to stop playing entirely.

Hopefully it rains all summer long so we can practice in it and one day become a half decent wet weather team.

One day.

All
We
Need now is to practice under lights considering all the night time matches we play

We
Don’t actually
Train at night or under lights

Maybe an idea to do that

Hangers lights not bright enough for match simulation.

Why does this look like it’s AI generated.

Do you mean it?
We somehow don’t train in night light nor rainy conditions, although almost every other club does.
Obviously, we are garbage!
How about these recommendations?
Turn on all of the cars’ lights and aim them at the training area.
Gather a thousand supporters and have them hold an extension pole that has a Spotlight lamp on it.
Place a few of bright spark lights on the balcony where you host your annual snag sizzle.

El Hawli must play for us to be a better more balanced team ideally as a wing half forward , however Jones should also play as. High half forward in the Riewoldt role.

Jones has improved significantly to become almost become the footballer he was recruited to be. His role as a link player or to mark the ball at half back was vital for us in 2024.

For me both players are in my best team and I hope Scott sees this.

Cox is trying to find his best football, and his best spot however took a step forward last year to being more consistent. He will get games however once the other wingers are injured.

Does anyone see Zak Johnson making it into the seniors in 25?

This low light footage has been speed up and slowed down giving it a tampered feel. But the footage is defo real.

the work experience kid on the socials has had some fun with the editing.

Looked like a tough session in the rain. I like it.

These sessions used to be typical for AFL teams in past eras.

Great report and vision thanks @CJohns

Apologies if I missed it but how was Reid?

It will be hard for him, what with not being on our list and all.

Hats off to whoever designed it, probably Ai.

Just tell me Prior is an upgrade on Kelly. Kelly was a pure liability

Cox should be no where near the AFL side for me.

It’s not available to purchase yet which sucks. Was hoping to get for my 12 year old as a Xmas gift. It’s awesome

I think he’s a chance but would need an few injuries.

His strengths are areas of weakness for efc.

He would be behind a few, imagine he was picked with a look to the future not 2025. But easier for mids to get a game than talls generally.

his versatility of playing in defence

or midfield should help with getting a debut as well.

Very shrewd tactic putting all the sh¡t kicks on the interchange. Your tricks might work on some people Ivan but I’m awake to your sorcery :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

With ball in hand, yes a significant upgrade. Without the ball probably a down ground but not a pure liability so a net gain overall

I honestly think unless he takes massive steps forward Cox wont be getting many games this year.
I want Jones to play as a permanent forward with Caddy.
