Is Clarke a top-up like Brown and Hartley?

Hartley wasn’t a Top Up player (he would have been if he passed the medical).

Michael Apeness retired.
We should get him to sign with the VFL side if he is coming home. And pick him up with same rules as Clarke/Mumford next year if he is any good.
Only 23

Apeness is not AFL standard.

I’ve always pronounced it Ape ness.

But after seeing your post I’ve only just realised you could be inventive and call him A peness

Wasn’t he good mates with Joe?

And he retired. Maybe his body is rooted, not that he’s trying to pull a fast one.

We should’ve got Nick Meese.

Then we’d have Nick Meese and Mick Neese.

This is still very much on the agenda, more of a strategic thing, we will need another 2 over the next 2-3 years
