While we’re talking potato cakes, I think I discovered the difference between potato cakes and potato scallops recently in Sydney.
Their potato scallops have miles less batter on them than our potato cakes…and of course, they are scalloped potatoes.
Another proof of the superiority of Melbourne as a city. Gourmet capital of the world.

A combined BBQ & Beer Cooler! This, surely, is Aussie engineering and recycling at its very best! When you’re finished barbequing and the ice has melted, just pull the handle and the fire goes out.
