I see it’s been marked with a star. Must be a favourite in Gaastra, Michigan. Anyone got a big enough pot I can borrow to give it a go?

I had a vegan mate who used to love dim sims when drunk. Claimed they didn’t contain meat so it was ok.

They’re Mrs S’ guilty pleasure. We don’t often have fish n chips, but when we do she adds a fried dimmie to the order. Mine’s a potato cake.

Fat City.

I’ll always go the dimmie over the potato cake. But always wish I didn’t after.

I think you’d find that the fat:nutrition ratio is higher for the cake. I mean you have a sliver of potato with a big pad of fat-soaked batter on both sides and all around it. Add some salt and how could it be better?

So it’s basically carbs, surrounded by fat, then with salt. I suppose you could add sauce for sugar.

Sugar. I’d forgotten about sugar. TBH, in the interest of taste, I’d leave the cake as it is.

I guess if you don’t consider cat as meat then it is all good.
