Hurt my knee when I missed a step coming down a ladder. Did not go to a doctor (feel like an idiot now). 6-weeks on, the constant lean caused by the pain led to re-aggravating my herniated disc. So, now I can’t bend my knee AND I can’t be seated without insane pain.

Reckon it is stubbornness that’s caused this, not old age.
Although they do say you get more stubborn as you get older. So maybe it’s a chicken/egg scenario.

Really late to this conversation but Nebraska is my favourite album of Springsteens. Not a bad song on it, with Highway Patrolman my favourite.
I can’t bear this Springsteen chat. Born in the USA was totally ye when it came out. It sounded so dated and the earlier stuff sounded like old man @swoodley music. He had a bloke in the band that played sax that he rated and kept on board for years (1972-2011) FFS.

That doesn’t surprise me…I love his music but when he gets it wrong…I remember seeing him here in Perth about 30 odd years ago during his thrash metal stage…one of the worst concerts I’ve ever been to.
