Actually both Goldie and 2MP battled well. Xerri would be close to the best ruckman going around at the moment, and other Teams ruck are mostly average. We were beaten in the centre and lack of pace was obvious, but not all down to Goldie.

Caleb Daniel is a great user, but one thing we did well was work hard to limit his receives back after a kickout. Even 2MP abandoned the mark to follow him at one point. It was a clear imperative.

I beg to differ here. I wasn’t that caught up in the result, good if we won, but not the end of the world if we lost, plenty expected it anyway, plus we had a few injuries and were undermanned late (had a couple of excuses).
Like it was exciting enough I never switched it over, whereas in the Crows game, I probably tuned out or did something else with the footy on in back ground in the second half. But yeh the result likely wont be the difference to making finals or not.
And our 4-3 standing is playing above our grade given % is only average.
A potential win against swans at home and 5-3 could have us in the 8 with match ratio.
And then we have Bulldogs, who usually go ok, but we should have Caldwell and maybe a few others back then and they will be missing Sam Darcy and Cody Weightman who trouble us.
Its a odd year, where given our easy start we could ahve good win loss ratio, but know were a mile off. So can’t really enjoy it.
They’ve just played more games this year, Bont is clearly superior from where I sit, bloke is so influential. The other guy who is immense is Zak Butters, what a player he is.
Apparently when an umpire makes a clear error and it is corrected through the earpiece it’s always a ball-up. Dunno why.

It feels like the club and by extension us as supporters are in a constant state of Purgatory. It’s such an unfulfilling and dour fan experience.
If we could at least succeed in being terrible properly then there might be something to get excited about but we can’t even do that.

I’m only talking about form so far and current Brownlow standing . all time I’d have bint ahead of merret and daicos too. I watch most doggies games just to watch him play . sam Darcy too . hell be better than buddy over his career ,

Ferals calling in to SEN this morning saying Caddy and Kako are very selfish players !
Not sure who they supported, but both have a job to kick goals and the delivery to both just sucks. Kako was handballing off to others lots last night well 7 times anyway.

Whoever they are, obviously have no idea. Kako needs to be more selfish as he always tries to setup players where he can. Caddy is finding his way and kicked a point when trying to hit up 2MP. Fark people are stupid.

It actually wouldn’t surprise me if we rolled Sydney next week too. They are playing ordinary footy and have a host of their best players missing. That would take us to 5 and 3 yet nobody would be remotely excited because everyone know we are miles off being a finals side. It wouldn’t actually mean anything or be achieving anything.

They’re a better team than us and a better team than what they are currently showing due to injuries, but my statement would apply to any team we beat. In any case keep sending the kids up (gonna be even more kids now) and let them do their best
