Yep, you’d have to go all the way to last week to find the last time that happened (ignoring the he loss part).
and with a game in hand to play
real pity Longmire isn’t their coach, gif would have been next level…

We were 40 games younger tonight on average across the field, any win like that is gonna be great
Yep. Take Goldy out and that average would blow out too you’d think
Yeah god knows what the average age will be when Vigo comes in
A mixed bag.
Two guys debut and they get a win in a 50/50 game. However, one of them probably does his ACL and is out for the year when he’s clearly ready for AFL
We kick well but realistically only win the game because Sydney blow a ton of chances.
We play our best half for a year and follow it up with a repeat of last week’s dismal second half.
The coaches have to take some responsibility for the way this team plays when defending a large lead. It appears that they aren’t teaching the players how to handle the inevitable change in momentum. We play exactly how a team wanting to score would want us to play - by playing it too safe and slow, inviting the high press and then never even attempting to back ourselves to break through it.
I fear it’s Scott’s lack of faith in his players showing through. All those big leads given up at North can’t have helped with his approach to these types of situations. Throwing Langford into defence was peak Scott defensiveness. Ironically Langford added to our issues, if anything.
We’re 5-3 but with a percentage more representative of a bottom 6 side. We have also played some really poor sides, and even the decent sides like Port and Sydney had especially bad shockers against us based on the eye test.
We are once again flattered by our ladder position just like last year. The injuries will probably ensure we eventually stop winning, and that might be the only way to stop us from finishing in the typical 10th to 13th bracket.
All I want to see is the continued rise of our youngsters like Reid, Caddy, Roberts, Kako and hopefully more. That and a license to keep taking risks even when the opposition turns up the heat. I can accept losses if the team is as undermanned and young as it is.

Throwing Langford into defence was peak Scott defensiveness
Who else were we gonna put back there once Hayes went down?
Scott seems to be setting us up not to lose, rather than to win.

How good was McGrath! Brilliant game
Had a heap of it and set up a lot of rebound from half back, but his disposal continues to stink up the joint.
Surprised they didn’t have to open the roof to let the stench of his second half escape.
Would have 3 votes from me if he didn’t shank every third kick.
Insane some of you people are happy with that.
WCE North and Sydney by like a kick each this year.
11th on the ladder here we come.
LAV……oh wait
Yeah we should be filthy after a win. How dare anyone on this site display any happiness or a hint of optimism.
This site would have crashed if we had lost those 3 games.
JJohnson not beating the allegations here lolol
We’ve beaten 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th and 18th on the ladder. Only the Demons was more than a 2 goal Margin.
We’re in the 8, potentially with a game to spare.
Tracking beautifully ??
It’s a weird time.
Why?
You’re right actually. Everything is going swimmingly this year.
For where we are as a young team and injuries to key players it’s a fair farking effort to be 5-3 we could have easily packed it and not give a ■■■■■
This team has some farking ticker
If you look at our upcoming fixture, probably best to enjoy the wins while we have them. About to get nasty.
