Their midfield dominance stopped on its own, I guess…
They thought they had us and then we crushed them by 40 whilst not playing well
I’ll take it suffer in your jocks Noŕth
Caldwell, Merrett, Hepp, Wright, Guelf, Stringer, well done gents.
Ben Hobbs, I’m a big fan but what has happened to you? Same with Nick Martin Prefer Marto up the ground. Davey doesn’t do enough but there’s nobody else. Injury to Durham is gonna hurt. Mason Redman is low on confidence.
Umpires and commentators are my two biggest gripes about this competition and today they were both awful. Again.
It’s odd to have a game over at 3qt and yet still have a ‘let’s never speak of it again’ feel to it. Oh well. Second on the ladder is second on the ladder.
It’s not broken, they just refused to apply it.

It was, wasnt it. Why be suprised.
Its a long 6 days until another dose of footy after that.
The way they set up today was never going to win. Clarkson was content to turn it into a ■■■■ fight and play damage control football. If he continues to coach that way, they will never win again. That we managed 26 scoring shots was actually pretty good.
Great. But we have a lot of improvement yet. No one can be happy with that performance.
Hobbs was very good from the second quarter til late in the last.
Was he?
Yep.
He was.
Again, we were getting destroyed in clearances.
The short bloke brought into the song huggin calders after it

Why do you hate Bryan Caddy Davey Hayes Lual Menzie Reid Ridley Roberts Visentini Wanganeen Weideman et al so much?
We are clearly not the complete package yet but take the win.
Draper can’t come back soon enough.
Really wish we could bury an opponent.
Loved that third quarter but the last one just leaves me a bit hungry.
Umpires missing the back to back goals by our indigenous boys in Sir Doug Nicholls round was a low light.
But i thought it was the games best moment.

Was he?
I’m with wimm, I thought Hobbs was good. Crashes packs, tackles, finds the ball, sets up plays, puts a lot of pressure on. Yes, he got caught, but so do others. The bads bits are far outweighed by the good stuff he does. Thought he did very well today…

Great. But we have a lot of improvement yet. No one can be happy with that performance.
Sure but last year we nearly lost, this year we put the foot down when it counted and won the game. I think we have turned a corner. It was ugly but it was a win not a “lucky” one we probably should have lost.
Hobbs was awful.
