Nice delivery to Jones in congestion, too.
Credit to the roos for not getting blown away in the last.
I really wanna smash the tigers next week, after not beating them for a decade we are due to smash them
I was expecting another 6 point win like the WC game so Iām more or less happy with the result. Just once though it would be nice to destroy the opposition.
Pretty good day really, some very hard to please here.
We won by 40 points which is a good result.
But I still feel a bit flat. The game never seemed to click into gear.
Today was the golden chance to bring in Bryan as a chop out.
Really disappointed Scott didnt. Maybe the trade rumours are true
Merrett held, Durham down on output and we struggled in the middle. Caldwell and Perkins were good but that effort wonāt win us finals. We need a good ruck.
and playing a full game, not subbing, will do him a lot of good.
I did caveat my comment with āyet.ā
A truly turned Essendon puts that north team to the sword.
Itās been a good progression, but there is plenty of improvement, including beating these sorts of teams without falling back on excuses.
Letās destroy the tigers next week!
We won by the amount predicted by the models like Squiggle. Those models also rate us as roughly the 13th best side in the comp, which I think is about right.
We have won 11 of North Melbourneās grand finals in a row.
Iām going to give Hobbs an out because heās playing in an unfamiliar role and when he gets the ball on the outside he doesnāt have the vision to execute the right decision. I think heās an ordinary kick but is very effective as a pure inside midfielder. I think he played with great effort and intensity today.
Letās destroy the tigers next week!
Would be nice but I canāt see it happening. Iāll take a 3 goal win.
Of course it will.
Who got caught/gave away more frees?
Hobbs or Durham?
Iām not bagging Durhamās game.
More saying some people arenāt seeing all Hobbs does.
Couple of really good interviews with McKay and Guelfi on the ground after the game.
They stole my lunch money
As if Langford got pantsed by Aidin Corr rofl
Iād rather be us than Port Adelaide right now.
He played at starvation corner but the stats suggest he did none of those things. 13 touches, 2 tackles & 13 pressure acts. Thought he was really poor.
