One little thing - McGrath turns the ball over in the back half with a stinker. Instead of dropping his head, he uses every centimeter he has at his disposal to get up and spoil Jenkins. Really love that attitude.

Just to temper the enthusiasm.

Our first half was woeful and Adelaide if they were decent in front of goal could have buried us.

They didnt and then we ran over them. Emphatically.

No it wasn’t. We hung in there, got screwed by two umpire gifts and made some adjustments just before half time to keep the game alive

The protected zone 50 rule just has to be changed. We saw the result of leaving stupid rules remain in the Cricket World Cup final (boundary from overthrows that deflect off the basman).
It should be a protected zone, and a penalty (less than 50) for entry into the zone that interferes with the player’s abilitiy to move the ball on. No interference - no penalty. Simple.

The 20m to 30m run from the kick out is happening every week.
