Dons 48 Suns 62 (3rd Quarter)

Dons 108 Suns 80 (Final Scores)

9.6 to 2.6 to end the game.

Would have lost that one last year…

To the numbskulls saying “Gold Coast are ■■■■!”, they were our equal if not better for a majority of the game and they have a lot of talent in that side. I think they’ll win 10-11 games this year despite the 0-2 start.

A better win than last week, in my opinion.

With a shoe horn??

Wasn’t easy for us but battled hard until we broke away!

Kudos Wilbur! And Langers!

Action looked sidewards, and say a couple of weeks off but not too bad. Baldwin gets a shot.

Was calm and confident the whole game. Just like brad scott was.

Heppell is that cooked tho it isnt funny

Redman and McGrath are the best half back combo in the comp. There, I said it.

My partner said Menzies is a footballer and again proved right I believe again

Imagine if GC & GWS never existed.

All that talent and money shared amongst the other 16 teams. It would have made for a much better league.

They are a stain on the AFL, and need to die.

Careful with that one around here.

But they both played great games.

Hats off to all the supporters that showed up today. It was great. And even to the 30 off rent a crowd for the gold coast

Well well well, what a tasty filling game of football that was, like nonnas spag bowl after a long weekend of partying

BDB again best on ground, Hepp was costing us the game and was subbed. Things have changed at Essendon.

GC got out in front, we clawed back, they pushed out again, we clawed back, they pushed to draw it, we pulled away and put em down in the last

Even when the game was won the pressure was still there, the structures

Our better players rose to the top

Setterfield unbelievable, contested possessions, tackles, goals

Zerk playing AA level FB

Parish brownlow level play

Being allowed by Zerrett and Shield playing inside/outside and playing two way running football

I said Shield, because he was using his bulk to help Zerrett and PArish kill it

McG is SO GOOD off HB, he rarely loses a ball that comes vs him and his defender and his dash off HB and gut running was awesome and gave us a lot of momentum

Davey glimpses of brilliance, doesn’t look out of place or overawed at all

Shiel played his best game for the club

Martin got only a few touches but they were class

Mass should be taking all our kicks into the forwardline, was great defensively too

Phillips, awesome work rate, helps us win in so many ways

Redman amazing

Menzies shaping up to be that opportunist goal sneak every contending team needs

THE Forward

Sweet, decade long vindication, years, post after posts, LANGFORD IS A GAME WINNING HF.

No more midfield, no more wing, no more back, just for the love of ■■■■ Brad, leave him in the f50

He is the most HF HF we’ve had in so long.

Okay last bit of love

DURHAM

Wow, just, wow. I thought Martin was our football magician I was wrong

Durham plays the game at 1.25 speed compared to everyone else on the field. He is so catlike athletic and he has such intensity for not just 2, but 3 to 4 contests. An absolute pure football animal.

Will be most improved player of 23

McGrath’s kicking… Has its moments, to be polite.

But he does everything else very, very well.
