Review thread: Fark you, Bin Chickens

Parish and Merrett won that for us in the last. I really do not understand what they’re doing with Parish.

I’ve been a Zaka defender, but you can’t be the most experienced player on the list and do that.

Umpiring got worse as the game went on, just hard to believe some of those calls.

Better than THE LIZZARD and Franklin

Saad is a superstar.

It may have been genius leaving Parish out of the centre for 3 qtrs making him angry, when he got in there he was like a man possessed.

Wasn’t the greatest viewing but it was intense. Players very tired at the end.

Was it a plan to play Parish only in the midfield in the last? He won that game for ys, he and Merrett

And umps… i have some words for you…

Despite there being no red time we still gave up red time goals.

Townsend played like a Richmond reject tonight.

Surely Draper offers more than Bellchambers.

Put Parish in the midfield rotation.

Sheil was good early.

Ridley is reliable.

Saad and Parish in the second half were huge.

Take Zaka and TBC out to the back paddock and shoot them.

Our very own last quarter specialist. Rest him for three quarters forward then goes boom in last quarter.

We had a handful of players that carried us to a win.

Far too many passengers.

But what if he played there for the first 3 quarters and he didn’t need to play like a man possessed in the last because we’re up by 5 goals?

To take a win out of that game is a huge result:

  • First round after 11 weeks off. Complete lottery.

  • Fly up on the morning of.

  • Playing on a ground where we always, repeat always, get dicked.

  • They came back late making a loss look inevitable.

  • Received half the number of free kicks.

  • Quite a number of players had mares.

  • 17 round season places added importance to each game.

  • 3rd on the ladder at the end of the round.

A lot to improve on but massive result.

anyone who doesn’t rate SMACK can suck my d*ck

yep. he’ll most likely have nothing games at times (like every forward) , but if you cannot see his worth your being ignorant

he is a enigma, and when he turns it on he seriously turns it on

Anyone notice what happened to McGrath in the last? Barely saw him, did they put him in the Parish corner?

Haven’t we done this before with Parish?

Play him forward for most of the game and then move him into the middle last quarter because he’ll have fresh legs and run all over the oppositions tired mids?

Surely we’ll need to do something for the ruck options next week - TBC can’t run with Gawn.

Great result. ■■■■■■ way to have to prepare for a game. We’ll recover, get McKenna/Fantasia/Ambrose back for the home game at the G. Great for us.

Thank ■■■■ we won that!

Didn’t like T-Bell and Zaka in the side, and imo were our worst two players.
I hate it when my completely irrational bandwagoning whipping boy stuff turns out to be right.

Was Langford aiming for the wrong posts?
The aborted fist-pump made me think he was.

Hurley’s a genuine worry.

Lots to like about the rest.
Except for the second quarter and that ■■■■■■■ flank.

And I’m out of likes… sigh.

The camera angle for THAT goal shows just how difficult and skillful that is

I love the balls of the guy, he gives us a fair few like that a season and that is not an easy 60 metre kick

That goal saved the game, Parish won it

Or off within seconds. He gave away a dumb free kick that could have cost us.

Too many players had bad games.
