Review thread: Fark you, Bin Chickens

Isn’t Phillips a better option until Draper is ready?

knock on wood we didn’t appear to have any injuries during the game.

Potentially we could have a forward line with Fantasia, McKenna and Tippa as our smalls.

Plus Ambrose to assist in the backline.

the problem as i see it.
we controlled the first half.
but poor decision and play meant we were only 6 points up at half time, instead of 3-4 goals.

the gameplan stacked up well. but dumb bits of play meant that at half time it was what, only 6 points.

i get you can’t control everything, but without the mistakes caused by essendon supidty, we are 3-5 goals up at half time.

like it or not, you have to play the % or probablities and too often, it’s like placing a bet for the hell of it, despite it being a bad decision.

In next week for Townsend and Zaharakis.

Have liked the grit of the last two wins (despite nearly having a stoke). Essington would have rolled over.

There is some resolve in the playing group. Need to work on the fade outs in red time.

We could give the team a nice energy boost just by replacing Zaka and Belly with Ham and Phillips

meh, i rmemeber copping more ■■■■ in 2017 from the cripple fight “anzac day” game.

the rest, probably.
i have 15 yrs plus evidence to back up my sucking the fun out of “ONE” win as a justification it means anything other than “ONE WIN”.

Ambrose comes in for Francis, Ham in for Zaka, Fantasia for Snelling, McKenna for Guelfi.

Love Francis but he cost us at least 3 goals. Competed pretty well later in the game but Ambrose has to come in for somebody.

Snelling and Zaharakis

Francis needs to remove the idiot bonehead free kicks from his game.

Very costly, and luckily today didn’t result in a loss.

That was the best cardiac exercise I’ve had since COVID arrived.

Fark off bin chickens, fark off yellow bastards, fark off “integrity unit”.

I’ve been a while to respond as I’ve just analysed all our games versus that crap since 2000: there is a 10.3 free turnaround from switching games between Melbourne and Sydney. It’s actually positive, on average, in Melbourne, but the problem is 67% of the games have been “randomly drawn” to be in Sydney (plus one final).

And we know the numbers don’t tell the whole story…

Francis did some ■■■■■■■ stupid things. But he shows glimpses of being good. Very frustrating.

No way they drop Francis.

Belly looks slow, his tap work i thought good though.

Zaka was awful.

Thought Hurley was ok. Ridley, Saad and Hooker very good.

Shiel started well and seemed to have better disposal, Merrett and Parish very good in the last. Heppell will be better for the run.

So many basic skill errors
