Some players need to be dropped and some development put into the kids coming through.
Myers, Bags, Goddard to start the list. Tippa should probably have a rest or regain some form in the two’s because he currently looks slow and stagnant.
To be honest they should really just put Langers in for 6 games and see what happens. If he sucks get rid of him. But what is to be lost by trying?
I can’t see anything positive that has come of playing Hooker back.
Stewart should be dragged if he fails to lead at the ball carrier.
Forward line coach needs to be sacked.
Worsfold was a hard player but he has presided over one of the softest Essendon sides that I can remember. It’s hard to fathom.

Getting sigs wouldn’t be too hard.
Lost the players. Sack him now. Don’t know what you do next but do anything because their is absolutely nothing enjoyable about this club. Nothing.
I had to take my son to basketball so only managed to catch the second half. Thought we looked pretty sharp so I’m sure we’re coming good, just need to persist.

The most diabolical decision that will set us back years unless rectified. And there is only one way to do that, but it won’t happen (as much as I want it to). They will broom the assistant coaches at year’s end and give Woosha another year. I reckon he will be gone by R18-19 next year. Interim coach for the remaining 3-4 games of 2019, pay out, search for a new coach will begin in earnest, reset for 2020. It’s gunna be a long 12-18 months.
The club is tone deaf. Marketing/comms are all over the place. Let alone the football department! But he’s done a great job.

If this doesn’t bring change then ill be mad. Get some decent coaches in and change the fukn game plan cos its NOT working.

Something very wrong at the club. Playing without confidence or spirit. The players look deflated. It’s only going to get worse unless something drastic is done, but nothing will be.
I feel for the players. Individually they do some good things, but they’re playing within a system seemingly designed to nullify any advantage we gain. Look up and there’s no-one to kick the ball to, no-one running by, no quick play or excitement, no forward line. I can’t pick a design to the game we’re trying to play, except that it’s killed all enterprise in the players and made good players ordinary. It’s lamentable.
I’ve followed the club for many years and been a passionate supporter. Right now I’m numb, and feeling helpless - the problems seem so obvious, yet the people responsible for it won’t listen and are too stubborn (or stupid) to change.
I never want to lose to Carlton, but today I saw some erit in it if it focuses attention on our deplorable coaching - yet I don’t believe the club has the balls to do anything, let alone say anything. I’m as close to not caring as I’ve ever been. This is killing my love for the club and for the game itself, and I’m feeling bitter about that.

Board spill talk is ridiculous. This is clearly a football department issue. I’d direct your anger at the coaches box.

Completely agree. I was a fan of Worsfold at the start. He did a good job during the year off and last year but, as soon as he has shown us his own game pkan, it’s clear he’s just not up to the job. He has indeed lost the players. This must be the end, for the good of all involved, including John Worsfold.
Now, what is James Hird up to?
