We went down. Spewing. On the boys for fighting till the end!

We had em… We had em for that split second and then we lost em.

Beaten by a team with a little bit more polish and terrible farking umpiring.

Still incredibly pleased with what I saw tonight. Bring on 2022 and beyond.

Parish is an animal. Langford has arrived. Cox will be the rising star this week.

Got ourselves well and truly into a position to win the game, ran out of legs and blew it. ■■■■■■■ hurts to end like we did, but in the grand scheme of 2021 this isn’t a catastrophe. It’s just what happens when a young team that’s down two players and carrying a couple of injured ones comes up against a top side.
Time to rest up over the break, and hopefully we get a good look at a few more youngsters in the second half of the season.

Richmond are still a good side.

We are our own worst enemy

Needed to take our chances but stuffed them up constantly

Would be nice to get a head start against them instead of trail by 3-4 goals early on

Also screw you Worsfold

The last 15 hurt, but we were down a rotation which did not help.

We didn’t stop trying which is more than we can say of Essington.

39 points wasn’t reflective of the game.

I feel sadness.

Horrendous last 15 mins.

Soundly flogged all night.

Gave a heart racing 5 min spell which was nice.

Obviously it’s not great to capitulate but overall it was very promising.

Got to remember too that we had McGrath out basically all game, Zaka last qtr and Tippa hobbled.

We’ll be alright.

The margin was in the first and last 15 the last 15 in particular was very poor. Outside of that we were good and we’ve still got alot to look forward to.

They literally kicked 7 goals in the last 11 minutes

Disappointing scoreline, sure. But we are definitely on the right track.

Their period of dominance against us will end when we play them next.

18 premiership players they had

Great effort from our boys. Margin did not reflect the game, disappointing it blew out at the end.

We have some injury problems

Four less scoring shots is pretty indicative of tonight, really unlucky many times and God these â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  umpires really do my head in, â– â– â– â–  sake

please…

We were in front 10 minutes in to the last qtr. Get a â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  grip.

Richmond are incapable of being pinged for holding the ball, and since when does they umpire tell a team 4 times to hand over the ball and not give away a 50.

Still with McGrath out from the 1st quarter and further injuries through the game, we did ok.

That doesn’t mean ■■■■.

They never gave up. We were in front with 10 minutes minutes go. They are just a better team.

It was like those discovery channel docos where like a pack of wild dogs is chasing a waterbuck and it kicks and runs around and you go, “oh this dopey looking beast is actually going to escape these dogs”, and then the dogs eventaully bring it down and eat it alive and rip it’s unborn baby out.

Like that.

It’s always something though.

2019 we had Shiel, Draper and Stringer out with injuries during the game.

2020 we have the diving twins of Vlastuin and Grimes.

This year it’s McGrath out, Zaka out and Tippa with a corky.

It’s ■■■■■■■ frustrating.

Serious?

We’re we’re pantsed for all of 5 mins.

Take the rose coloured off.

Hey it was nice we made a run…
But that last 15 mins to concede 7 was horrendous.
