Review Thread vs Eagles 2023 - How the west was won (by 50 points)

yep - happened quite a few times. I figure it should improve as they build understanding and trust in their teammates to do their role.

Lucky then that Worser gave our players so many learnings so they could do it all themselves.

Two things for us to take the next step:

  1. Learn to handball effectively

  2. Put as much effort into identifying and nullifying forward runners as we do the ball carrier*

*this one particularly ■■■■■ me. Our backs (and WCEs lack of skill) saved us on a few occasions tonight.

you got 14 year olds on your mind?

I’m pretty sure it’s the whisky

Everyone saying that gold Coast and GWS were easy kills this year… but they’ve both taken some big scalps. And west Coast came out swinging. I think we’re tracking really nicely.

Sorry, you must be 12. Go and watch Harry Potter again.

ha - obviously an aberrant click on my part

I’m still trying to process my reaction.

But I was so annoyed with our performance tonight. And we won by 50 points.

So confusing.

One of those games that has its own logic…neither side plays particularly well, but we were better. Remember last year?

Brad is now one win ahead of Chris for the year.

Coaching the side who finished 15th last year (with plenty of injuries) Vs the reigning premiers…

Lol?

WC showed great fight for most of the game, but our skills were well ahead of them. It is a pleasing win because last year we would have likely folded.

Agree except SPS is still a young buck

Watching on the phone this year has been terrible. It’s ok when I watch at home.

That’s true. Last year, we lose that game.

genuinely thought he was delisted.
