He started well. Today I watch him defensively marking space. Iâm sure itâs all part of the whole ground defence bollox but at some point youâd like to think that common sense would kick in and heâd start chasing and applying some pressure or heaven forbid lay a tackle! He wasnât alone thoughâŚI agree with the sentiment that choosing Cutler and Zaka over Francis and Guelfi was just dumb. Maybe Leon Cameron disguised himself as Cara or Gia at match committee and planted those seeds! Train wreck of a game

Inside 50m = shot at goal. We are not skilful enough to 2nd guess.

Our football has been garbage for a month, we have just picked up the choccies a couple of times to soften the blow.
Teams trending in the right direction , itâs just ups and a few downs lately and for as bad as that game was GWS didnât flog us on the scoreboard.
If there is one good thing to have happened is that since the Brisbane shellacking(and conditions played a part). We havenât been beaten badly on the scoreboard.
Sydney and the Dogs will be a test

Your all ranting like we where terrible, i think it took alot of work from the Giants to win that one. I even had this penciled in as a loss and we still make finals in the predictor⌠would have been nice to win.
The game it self was not that appealing to watchâŚIt was difficult given the way it was played⌠made some players looked crap⌠but, both sides where being very defensive, so its easy to rag on a player because he didnât appear to be involved, when he was probably playing shut down.
Defiantly think we would look alot better with Langford and Guelfi in, and possibly win it. not sure about boring shiel back into the side through an AFL game though⌠hrmmm

Thatâs rubbish, Ham, Snelling and Cutler played quite well.
If you want to fix the team, move Hooker to the back line where he belongs, play two rucks Draper and Phillips with one resting I the forward line and put Two Metre Peter at full forward.

he had one nice pass inside 50 early and that was it. 6 touches in 3 quarters after that.

Hooker canât play on a man anymore as a defender.
His man would run him ragged, and he canât make enough contests to play as the interceptor (or +1).

I mean with our ball movement. Much more defensive, slower so that we donât turn it over in vulnerable positions. Much more boring to watch.
Have noticed this actually. I rather us playing a forward half press then this slow play in case we turn it over
