I feel for Langford. He should be our 3rd forward but he continually has to be the main guy as Wright and Stringer do nothing. I’d trade them both and get the best big bodied CHF available.

The difference between the two clubs tonight. Season on the line for Dees, they put faith into their young kids to get the job done. I’ve hardly heard of half their players and they’ve had a decent turnover since the flag of only 3 years ago.

This club doesn’t have the balls to make hard decisions on underachieving players at any stage of any season after multiple coaching panels in the last dozen or so years. This club is way too conservative in everything it does from the administration to football department decisions. We are such a predictably boring, mediorce football club…farken YAWWWWWNNNN!!!

immature performance - didnt play the conditions well at all. It will be a totally different game under the roof at Marvel next week though. Move on quickly from this one.

Finals aren’t played at Marvel. We’re a fraud team who won’t beat anyone. We’ll end up with a horrid draw next year due to landing somewhere between 6-10, and will be back to bottom 6 with a ■■■■ draft hand.

Couldn’t have played worse if we tried for all bar the first 10 and last 10 minutes of the game. Fumble after fumble and consistently allowing the Melbourne players to play in front, so when the inevitable hack forward happened they take the mark.

Alternatively on the rare occasions when we did manage to not fumble, we would overpossess through handball (before inevitable fumbling).

Melbourne were cleaner, harder, smarter and simply wanted it more.

Second position on the ladder up for grabs and we probably end up 7th after tomorrows games.

Its just so bloody frustrating and disappointing.

Dudoro’s specialty was recruiting the slow unco fumbler. We need to start replacing them

yep beat 2 teams entrenched in the bottom 10. that’ll show the comp we are genuine contenders, woo world beaters we are, as long as we play bottom 10 sides we will be awesome.

What captain clever pants here doesn’t realise is that this is one of the most even seasons on record. Apart from Sydney, everyone has been losing against teams that they think they should be beating. We are clearly not the finished product. But when compared to the rest of the comp, we are going ok.

Anyone that expects us to be the team of the 2000 season, now or in the next few years are going to be bitterly disappointed.

Anyyyyway as I said about 45 times on here during the week, dees were going to beat us like Geelong did.

Far too tall for the wet - Lose inside 50 and beat us on the counter coz we have slow defenders like Heppell and Kelly
