Review vs Dees

That was woeful.

Shot at top 2 on the ladder and we play like that my goodness.

We are terrible in the wet. Took us almost 4 quarters to figure out how to play?

Pretty gutted with that one

Enjoyed Martin’s and duursmas game but that was about it really otherwise was just quite a frustrating watch. Holding the ball seems to be dead again too, what’s the point in tackling??

Bummer

yep beat 2 teams entrenched in the bottom 10. that’ll show the comp we are genuine contenders, woo world beaters we are, as long as we play bottom 10 sides we will be awesome.

Profoundly disappointing, again.

With the exception of Ridley we didn’t handle the conditions well at all, fumbled, over possessed the ball, ball watched and refused to just knock the ball forward and get some momentum on the ball.

We knew it was going to be wet, we clearly didn’t adjust the game plan accordingly nor did we pick the side accordingly.

We tried to play like we do in dry conditions. Flicking it around by hand and chipping short. Melbourne played man on man, brought the pressure and senior players inevitably crumbled and fumbled.

The number of out the back goals we conceded was just criminal given the conditions. Again, that’s because we didn’t adjust the way we play.

It’s troubling that we’ve struggled in greasy conditions 3 of the last 6 games. We just have to be better than that.

I think we’ve improved a lot. But we’re also miles from a good team.

Lack of composure with our set shots obviously really hurt us too.

Really poorly coached and lead tonight for mine .

He was woeful first quarter. Ok after thst.

Other players were horrendous. Imagine Hepp ■■■■■■ up like McKay with that handball error.

They were all ■■■■ tonight. A collective ■■■■ effort including the coach.

Really poor coaching tonight. Bad decisions to play tall players and then little brain power in changing things up during the game.

Also 98.8 percentage tells you Alot

We don’t like tackling, or body contact still and although some players have improved their defensive games, collectively as a team we haven’t

Nowhere near desperate enough. Too many players just won’t do what it takes to split a contest… Won’t name names, bit it’s the same ones every week

Our inability to do anything with the ball once it hits the ground inside our 50 is just not sustainable. We need to find a small forward who the opposition worries about. Unless our delivery inside 50 is pin point perfect we were no chance of scoring. On a night like tonight that will not will you football matches.

Martin is going to be so disgusted with all his dumb team mates that he will leave. I see it in his eyes.

I think honestly if we looked at the block of Collingwood, Geelong and Melbourne games. 1 win is par. Two would have been a birdy.

Now we have Adelaide, StKilda and Freo. (In Melb). I think par is 2 and a birdy is all 3.

cos people need to delude themselves, cos they prefer to live in a delusional fairytale to escape their personal life, as odolye sums it up.
