You need to let go of that, they don’t change leaders mid-season. He has already indicated this is his last year as captain. Until then you need to let it go.

No attack on the ball. So many turnovers by our players waiting for the chest mark instead of going forward to meet the ball.
We sometimes go hard at the player to tackle but we don’t see that ferosity at the ball.
Worst thing is, we have so many project players there isnt much competition happening for positions in the side.

We are a lazy, front running, bruise free team at the moment.
To allow them to waltz out of D50 at ease is an indictment of the lack of effort and commitment this team currently has. The amount of times I saw Parish and Shiel just jog/walk to help defence was disgustingly high. Lav & Zerk got a bath but geez there was bugger all help!

To be honest its hard to tell if it’s the player or coach as we have had something like 4 coaches since Sheeds left and all have failed bar Hirdy

This is bigger than players, we have gone dreadfully backwards from last year, no improvement in any areas.
Major concern…you’ll hear the spin about processes as usual.
But the fitness, the intensity, cohesion, skills have all gone backwards.
I haven’t given up in Rutten fully but I don’t see him impacting on this playing group in his four games at all. Zero Matchday coaching with lack of gameday moves just like the test prior to him.
I didn’t think we would win but I didn’t expect that a game in two halves either
