Umps needed to pull up Blicsav at centre bounces. Was basically starting on same side as our ruckmen and then turning his back to them.
It’s a block and a freekick everytime.
Don’t know why our mids don’t alert umpires to these tactics.

We did not lose because of the slow start. We lost becauae we turned the ball over too easily and in dangerous positions. The end

I actually thought that was our worst game defensively for the year. I thought we had fixed our issue with teams switching and beating us on the spread, but Geelong did it so many times today, it wasn’t really until the 3rd that we started to close it down, very disappointing.

8 doesn’t seem so bad when we were looking down the barrel at 12+ at one point.
He was ok in the second half.
The mods cost him a couple of goals in the first quarter but he played Hawkins wrong IMO

Blitz should have a seat at match committee.
Phillips, Perkins and Snelling should not have played today. They were useless, as many predicted.
Also if Tippa and Hind play against Pies instead of Davey and Hobbs, and we win that game.
5 basic turnovers resulted in goals, which match the margin. A real shame because the players did play out the game, and we won the second half.
Draper and Phillips were really disappointing, especially at the start which allowed them to get easy clearances and built up their lead.
The players were really trying for each other throughout, and I didn’t see any real selfish play, which shows that they buy into the system.
We need to win at least one of the next three… Big games ahead. Will define the season for us.
