mmmm… we looked like we could have won this but we had too many poor stretches to make it happen.
The kids did well and are getting the experience they need. You can see a core group who we can/are building around. Vigo was outstanding for a debut game. Gives us a genuine option for our ruck list strategy and Draper’s contract.
The senior blokes were a mix and not consistent enough through the whole match to make the difference we needed to give that extra bit to support what the kids provided.
We should only be playing senior guys who we believe will be a part of our future. At least playing the kids we understand what that investment is going to give us.
As for Perkins, he’s a big worry. Plays with no confidence. Had a decent amount of game time to get some form and confidence but it wasn’t there. Needs to be dropped to see if he can sort himself out. Frustrating to think he may have peaked with us.

Vigo cracked in and was pretty good around the ground but you are not going to win too many games when you lose hit outs 53-24.

Give him a break he competed very well, Im very dubios on those stats, i reckon they must have give a few of thoise no real, clear tap to either against him. He wasnt able to go for the second effort with jackson , but his leap is good and he is very athletic , some of those frees agaisnt him were utter bullshiit too
