How many hoops do yo have to jump through to get tickets? You cant buy at the gate for general admission price, they force you to upgrade, ticketmaster site gets you tickets in nose bleed for $34 and when you get to the ground there are seats everywhere. Then they want to sign you up for all these offers before you get to your tickets and the afl gets all your details because it is a required box. Then you have to park miles away from the ground and get some shuttle bus or pay truckloads for a park. Not simple to go to the footy anymore.
Just saw players at the airport. Gonna be tight to get to Metricon by 2pm. Should just make it.

Game Day has arrived and I am pretty pumped. I will be very disappointed if we get thumped today. Not sure we have enough to squeeze past the Suns but this team looks quite strong on paper and should be able to match it on the park.You think? I think it looks ordinary on paper and given the lack of cohesion that is inevitable among new team members and a new coach/game style we would have been better playing the Suns in a month or so.

I do think… Relatively. I think Goddard, Zaka, zerret, baguley, loony, jd are all very good quality players. Langford, Gleeson, Simpkin, parish are all exciting. Ambrose and smack have experience. Crowley and stokes have proven their worth in the past. That is 14 players that have a plus side… Then the excitement of walla is enough to make me feel it could have been a lot worse…
For all us losers stuck back watching the game in Melbourne - are any other Blitzers planning on heading to a pub in the SE suburbs? Eg the Elsternwick? I watched the WCE vs Ess NAB Cup thing at Hotel Brighton a couple of weeks ago and it sucked. Apparently he has gone camping and won’t be able to stream this weekend. Just check /r/AFL, there should be at least one or two alternate streams. I’m watching the GWS v Melbourne game on a different stream atm.
Heading to the Elsternwick with SheedsIsOurFather in one hour. Hopefully the lovely Humberta can join us after work. This game could be anything from a 5 goal win to a rather disheartening loss but if we can just go out and play some good footy we can have something to look forward to for 2016. We’re underdone, make no mistake, but if we can hit our targets by foot then we’re a chance.
Well done to all the supporters who’ve traveled interstate, we’ll be riding every bump with you. Come on Bombers.
