Yeah not an ideal thing and creates a disadvantage one way or another.

Its going to be funny watching people all year react if Essendon or Gold Coast are just outside the eight because we have played one less game than everyone else.
Also the media when discussing the ladder will always need to acknowledge that both of the teams are 1 game behind.
Played on the Gold Coast the free kick count will be 100 suns 10 Essendon.
With our 10 coming in junk time. 
Well if the seasons over either before or halfway through the suns game they are on the Gold Coast.
