Sunny, but cold. Sitting there in a scarf and beanie feeling cold, then your team kicks a goal, you stand up and cheer, and for a few seconds forget how cold it is. I have fond memories of those sorts of afternoons.

Worst day at footy was a game at Marvel, then probably Telstra. It was a chilly day, but sunny, so I rocked up in a t-shirt, no need for a jacket in the sun, right? The bloody roof was closed! I can’t remember if we won, I just remembering shivering through the game, cursing the roof. Never made that mistake again.
