Great pick up.
At the opposite end of the spectrum is the horrid first 5 from 2016:

Yeah.
I like the 2018 draft. One we traded out of for Shiel. That really is a good crop too
Watching the Giants beat a side you don’t like is like eating a stack of McDonalds.
A guilty, pleasurable feeling at the time. But then you feel queasy and awful after.
Ie when you think about when it’s Essendon’s turn to play them.
Edit: actually still enjoying the fact Collingwood got done by 9 goals
Definitely some superdraft mkii vibes about it. Mac Andrew I reckon will end up being gold coasts most important player in their history imo. Moreso than Rowell. I really rate him
Mac Andrew could genuinely be the best key position player in the AFL over the next 3-5 years. Maybe Sam Darcy will pip him for that, but he’s going to be right up there.
He’s got so many weapons. Good ball user, genuinely fast, reads the play well, huge leap.
Don’t underestimate his ability to kick a prone player in front of an umpire and get away with it. That won them the game.
Good point. Add fierce competitor to that list of traits.
I’m an unashamed fan of big Mac Andrew. His job on Charlie Curnow for a half last year absolutely won me over.
He went on the best power forward in the AFL and was beating him on pure athleticism. It was a joy to watch at the ground.
I feel Nick Daicos is very very good but a bit overrated.
Saw he was rated the best player in the AFL.
Dont think he is the most important
… the most important to the media.
What else matters?
Footage in the box, he looked all at sea, splotchy beetroot, rubbing his face with his hands, looked like an air traffic controller on the fourth day of a coke bender. Which may just be his style.
Well we hired a guy who literally looks exactly like a premiership coach.
Hasn’t helped so far. But least he looks the part I guess
This is true. Needs a beard
Be patient my friend
This is not an endorsement of any kind. Just pointing out a thread.
Bet responsibly
We also already have a round 1 thread
I ■■■■■■■ love him now
Um, yes.
