Wallabies with an against the odds 20-19 win over Argentina in Buenos Aires.
Great result especially considering this Argentinian team beat the All Blacks in NZ only a couple of weeks back.
Long, long way to go in their ‘rebuild’ but some promising early signs.
Rare weekend when the Wallabies win but the All Blacks lose.

Back to earth, indeed. On the other hand, it’s great to see Argentina playing top quality rugby at last. It’s a shame it had to be against Australia - but maybe this thrashing will cause a long-needed revolt in the Australian RU ?

Reportedly, the Dees are engaging an All Blacks Consultant to do a review of their Board.
The All Blacks have been very dominant for an extended period of time, plus they have had a very strong culture. A good get by the Dees.

That was uncomfortable viewing. Schmidt has the Aussies playing some good rugby. Stupid mistakes in the first half cost them the win.

Great game to watch. From 7-28 down in the first to nearly nicking it with a strong second half performance was encouraging for us Wallabies…Good subs, and they hung in there until they finally started running with it. They looked dangerous then. Both teams had a few tries disallowed by small margins. Few high tackles.not given either. But the Bledisloe stays with the ABs. As expected.
They’re beatable those ABs with the Wallaby squad Joe’s building. More consistency needed but let’s hope they touched the bottom over in Santa Fe, and now heading the right way up.
But a massive tall order to win back at theirs.
