Antonovsky pontoon bridge hit again
Himars must be a major factor in Ukr battlefield success taking back occupied territory. Thats apart from the bravery of soldiers and quality of leadership.
I think in general the Rus army has distinct advantages in brute force but the Ukr army has distinct advantages in precision (munitions and information) and in the night. Feels like those advantages are not as pronounced when fighting the Wagner guys
???
That’s what they are in: a War. Do you think it is just a “Special Operation”?
When armed soldiers cross into another country - it is called an invasion. Ukraine has the right to kill them - it is called defending your country. They also have the right to run a tally and celebrate the destruction of the enemy.
Does war desensitize humans towards death? Yes. Cue Stalin:
“A single death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic.” Josef Stalin
I don’t celebrate anything in War. Its a farking waste. In my opinion Russia started the war in 2014. Then Russia escalated it in 2021, mainly due to the weakness of the West in 2014 by not acting strongly enough after 2014.
I will celebrate when Ukraine takes back its territory and obtains adequate reparations from Russia. The lives of both Ukrainians and Russians lost cannot be “reparated” however, and for this, Putin is solely to blame.
Yep.
I do think they are floundering but they are floundering in all directions, as one does when floundering. Not in the same corner as Putin’s Valdai speech at all. Conveys despair. Putin does not.
Likewise for Vladimir Solovyov angry ranting.
Very different from what they need to be pushing internally as well as externally.
Almost as counter productive as RT’s director of broadcasting Anton Krasovsky video advocating drowning or burning Ukrainian children:
He got sacked and prosecuted for that.
But the rest of them don’t know what they are supposed to be doing either.
I think the tone they are SUPPOSED to be projecting internally is more like this:

But they just cannot do it.
Around 15k military were killed in the 8 years war in the separist region, documented by an official OSCE presence in those regions up to the Russian invasion.
Reporting for duty. Bump me boys.
Bump
Thanks @robthommo!
Wagner PMC suffering heavy losses.
Lieutenant Colonel Zangiev Vyacheslav was commander of Wagner’s “Combat Helicopter Regiment”. He was flying the Mi-8 that was shot down 2 days ago while delivering a load of “newly hired mid-level officers” to the front (videos of the shot and aftermath on his card if you have not yet seen them).
“The videos below show the destruction of the Mi-8 it is believed Zangiev was piloting. This helicopter was delivering retired mid-level officers, who were specially hired by Wagner PMC to command the cons and other mercenaries. Of the 18 men onboard, only 1 survived the crash.”
Russian soldiers killed per month per DoD stats
Instead of ATACMS: Ukraine SU-24’s will be modified to allow delivery of NATO standard SCALP missiles. Storm Shadow, a cruise missile with 300 km range and 450 kg warhead, will allow long-range strikes into russian occupied territory.
Advancing in the outskirts… Bump me boys.
They need something long range to hit targets in Crimea, especially those Iran drone launch bases.
