Bit of a stupid question Iām guessing but is it possible, with all the top sides losing to the lower sides, that potentially ( if this continues) 12 wins could get you into the 8?
I havenāt worked it out, but a decent percentage would presumably be required (which we donāt have). Twelve and a reasonable percentage is usually plenty.
I think itās almost certain 13 wins will be needed this year.
Last year the bottom 5 teams won 31 games between them. This year theyāve won 17.5 so far. Theyāre not going to get more than about 25 wins between them so thatās a lot more wins shared between the higher sides

Even though some results this weekend helped us, I still struggle to see us making it even with 13 wins. Iād be surprised if we get to 13 wins anyway.
But hopefully the glimmer of hope stays alive for a few more weeks at least

Essendon could have stunk it up Port style against GC but pounded them by 7+ goals. Now THAT would be something to moan about.
