After an extensive and exhaustive worldwide hunt for best available, Blitz admin realised that one of our own, @Hoffy , was the ideal candidate. We’ve viewed Hoffy from up close for years and have been impressed with the interaction and leadership of our younger, more recent Blitz draftee’s. We’re looking forward to the outright attacking gameplan, defence is for losers.
We’d also like to categorically deny rumours of a Laptop incident during SmythyHatesForgettingPasswords’ presentation to the Mod Board.
We also (sincerely) wish to extend our thanks to @theDJR for all the work he’s done over an extremely tough period. If you think supporting Essendon has been tough enough, having to deal with this place is a whole other level. You’re a champ, Dave. Enjoy the break, and hopefully one day we get to catch up at a VFL match or two again. Look after yourself.
