He is there in an honorary position so itās ok to give them a bake. However not sure the coach would have appreciated it.
And not sure if that was the time to do it. They were obviously hurting, they played their guys out and lost, they didnāt front run like we did against Brisbane. Not sure a name was deserved at this point.

The Coach is the players boss, and the only one they answer to.
Presidents / CEOās run the club, and should speak to club matters, finance etc, and thatās it. They often know fk all about football (Koch especially), and should just shut the hell up on football matters.
Only fkn big heads want to do the coaches job as well as their own.

Everyone answers to the President including players. If the President wants you gone you will be gone, itās not often they donāt get their own way. Gordon and Eddie for instance are two Presidents that have a big say on recruiting and list management
I donāt believe that for a second. They have football deptās, they hire the coach and other personnel, and or fire them.
Imagine a President saying āIā want player āXā.lol.
The coach, list guys etc say WE want player X, and only ask the Pres if itās going to be a big money spend for approval on the cash for the trade.
They make no list or coaching decisions, they only hire the people to do those jobs, ā¦ because they know fk all about those jobs.
They may want to stick their beak in because they think they do, ā¦ but they donāt & should know their place & just do their job.
If he wants to speak to anyone or give a bake,ā¦ itās the Coach and the Coach alone he speaks to,ā¦ and frankly, if he hit Hinkley up that way, Iād wager heād get a firm Glaswegian Nod, and then stepped on as Ken walked out the door.
That was a heart breaking loss for them yesterday, and he had no fkn business venting his hurt ego out on the players straight after when they are already crushed. but heās clearly an arrogant arsehol who just canāt help himself.

FACT: Gordon overruled his recruiters and got Boyd in
FACT: Beveridge wants Stringer gone, Gordon doesnāt. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
There are other examples also of Presidents getting their own way, Eddie is another who has been involved in trade management.

Jake Neade, Matt White, Angus Monfries, Matt Lobbe, Jimmy Toumpas and Nathan Krakouer are all experienced enough to provide more than the number of games theyāve been getting this year. A top 2 team doesnāt carry 6 list cloggers.
They are good enough to finish 5th to 8th and could be top 4 with some luck but also with some bad luck, they could slide outside the 8.
