I don’t know why people feel sorry for Dimma? He is the one who has built this side, worked with the recruiters to pick these players, he is the one who has developed the game plan that isn’t working and he is in charge of their skill level. He is as much to blame for where Richmond is as the players are.

Dimma is their most successful coach in 35 years by getting them into the finals three years in a row albeit without a win.Danny Frawley and John Northey could arguably be considered more successful with their finals wins and top four finishes in their sole finals appearances but without backing up in the finals the next season.
Makes truly depressing reading for their fans, much like our last dozen years, but we still have a long way to go before we reach their level of mediocrity.

While they are there then yes. Daniher was different as he was going to a club no one gives a crappie about. Dimma is at a club we (most anyway) hope fail so badly that it hurts. Nothing personal, just business.
