He was awful but Franklin was very very average as well. Their 2 bigs guns up forward almost nothing.
When you are paying a guy about 1mil a year you would be expecting him to put in a much better showing in the GF than he did.
They are both going to cripple their salary cap.

Everytime L Franklin touched the ball something happened. Every time. And every Bulldogs supporter there shat bricks because they could see it too. He was terrific and played through his ankle problem like a pro. One, two, three defenders, then he offloads to free Swans support staff creating opportunies. And he created plenty of them. At least half a dozen scoring involvements. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to see the game live because television doesn’t do the game justice. Tippett gave his followers first use nearly every time but his marking when in scoring range wasn’t as good as good as he would have wanted. That’s something he needs to get better at. The Bulldogs mids and defence were outstanding. It was farking hard to get a clean grab anywhere with 60m of the Swans goal.

And in fairness to Diggers’ boyfriend Buddy, while he didn’t hit the scoreboard enough, his delivery inside 50 was once again sublime. Id go as far as to say he’s the best deliverer of the ball to a leading forward in the league. Imagine if he had somebody to kick it to.
The ankle injury he copped at the start ■■■■■■ him up. Still performed a million times better than Tippett. Tippett is overrated and overpaid, they would do worse than offload him somewhere. Very very soft for someone his size.
