How long was Tippet’s initial contract with Sydney? He’s been there 4 years now. Surely if they have any season, they can cut his wage to a qtr of it’s original value if they contract him again

Put his head over the ball? Crash the odd pack or two when you are 6;6" and about 100kg? Maybe even take a contested mark? No point playing with an injury if it is just going to keep you away from a contest.

I didn’t think it was him but happy to stand corrected. I’m not a fan of his so that could be blinding me.
Tippett did have a good game in that 2012 Prelim, and was instrumental in the last 30-40mins from memory.
Though I think Sydney, and their fans in general, would be a little disappointed with his output over the past 4 seasons, given the sums of money he is reportedly being paid.
Rumours circulating that the post Granny function was cancelled after a few Swans players got into it in the change rooms after the game. Erupted after a few players were critical of others performances not being in line with the size of their contracts.
