Don’t know anything about Jolly but there have been stacks of cases where there’s a good reason why the father doesn’t get access. The name Rosie Batty mean anything?
I’m just saying it shouldn’t be unconditional. None of us know the reasons why.

Just for context. These are the type of messages now being left for his ex wife. Absolutely atrocious. I’m sure it’s a horrible situation for both.

Don’t want to sound insensitive and obviously this guy is hurting, but don’t know the full story here
Not suggesting anything about this guy in particular, however I work with alot men who are abusive and you often hear the ‘it’s the systems fault’ narrative or painting themselves as a victim - it’s a way of avoiding responsibility. But yes really hope he gets the help he probably needs

Always the males fault, let us just ignore the reality of how the system is stacked against men. Fathers commit suicide at a staggering rate (#21) because they are the bad guys. Blah blah.
I have a colleague who hasn’t seen his boys in 2 years. The last time, they screamed in fear. He is an amazing father and a top bloke. But his ex lied in court, claimed he was abusive and got custody of the kids.
I have another who colleague has a manipulative ex and he uses the kids to attack her. Her lawyer said she is only one he knows where the shoe is on the other foot (she is a wonderful mum and top person). It happens both ways and it is disgusting, but denying access to kids for 14 months, nah total BS.

yep, and generally then threaten to do themselves harm to guilt the woman into backing down.
who knows if that’s what is going on here, but if it was a ploy, well the reaction the mother is getting shows how powerful a manipulation tool it can be, not just by the person involved in public cases.
looks like we’ll find out pretty soon what path it was, cos i can see this story getting a bit of traction now.

They are right about how players would now have big doubts about their security and if sign long term contract having similar done. Even if you are a very good player / citizen/ loyal to the club.
One lady teed off on Beams. Should have just walked away from his contract since it’s his own issues causing him to do so as per Tom Boyd and what he did.
