Season 2020 - Collingwood

Where is he going? Could we be in the picture?

Hope not. For a start, the umps would start noticing that he throws nearly every handpass. Dunkley and Caldwell would do me.

I’m assuming we won’t get Dunkley, in contract and we would need to sell the farm (again).
Treloar may be cheaper.

Cheaper, older, more injury prone.

This rationale reminds me of ■■■■■■ blokes at the end of the night trying to pick up. Reeks of desperation and cheap beer

5 years at $900k per. Can’t see the Pies offering to pay part if he comes to us.

Depends how much salary Collingwood are willing to cover.

I think there are teams who will look at it and go if Collingwood pay 50-60% of the salary, we get a best 22 midfielder for well under the market rate. If Collingwood aren’t willing to pay that much, then they can keep him.

NO.

I really wish that other clubs would simply leave clubs like Collingwood to suffer the consequences of such signings.

I don’t rate Treloar much. He’s every chance to remain injury prone for the rest of his career.

We all need Collingwood to fall.

Leave Treloar on their books I reckon

I agree with you. Let Collingwood get stuck with him. Suits rest of comp. Treloar is average kick, injury prone an small in size. Doesn’t suit our midfield

he’s a bit injury prone but seriously, some people only see what they want to see. he’s a gun

If by “gun” you mean one of those cheap AK47s knockoffs churned out of a former garage in the back blocks of Somalia that are liable to blow up in your face when used, then yes, I agree, he’s a gun.

If it’s true that Pies were offering Merrett a huge contract then I hope he’s taking note on how they treat their big name recruits. We may be up a creek without a paddle but at least we pay our sailors.

He’s basically a carbon copy of Shiel.

He’s a good player but not in the top echelon.

Oh wow, yeah not much cheaper. I was talking more in terms of what we will need to give up but geez, that’s a huge hit to the cap.

He’ll go, but yeah I’d rather see Figgy stay there and keep the Pies in cap trouble.

Dodoro may not have won the Best Jackets award this year (that goes to the Doggies) but Collingwood sure as hell got the Worst Dressed award by far!! Loving it.

Now I know what a fire sale looks like.

@Heffsgirl How is Mr Heff taking it??

Why would anyone bother helping these arseholes out. Should’ve let them burn their salary cap just for a laugh.

Hearing the ferals try and justify the clubs behaviour was outstanding.

Their problem is they have a player manager running the list. Not sure he got the memo and he has just kept signing up players to ridiculous contracts.

The fire sale reminds me of what happened to us in 2002. Long may it stuff them up.
