Houli and Edwards not going into the hub.

interesting how that works.
because at present these hubs are supposed to be anywhere between 4-6 weeks. unless those guys join it at a later stage, you’re probably looking at minimum 4 weeks without playing due to no doubt having to be in quarantine if you do join at a later date.

Then after this hub, if vic still hasn’t settled down, what then.

also copping 2 long term injuries, plus cotching for 3 odd weeks, wonder how many players they’ll actually have to pick from.

You can’t join a hub half way through. Basically they wont be playing until after these 4 weeks at the minimum. If vic is still in lockdown then Richmond may be moved to another hub where Edwards and Houli can join if they wish.

So Richmond will probably be without Houli, Edwards, Cotchin, Nankervis, Prestia and Lynch next week?

if it’s outside vic, they’d still have to do the 2 weeks quarantine by themselves in a different state though, wouldn’t they ?
so it could be min 6 weeks

Richmond looking stressed, down on form and moving pawns around on the chess board. They look gettable

They do very unsettled this year. Probably a mix of changing coaches, losing a number of players who were important to their “system”, GF hangover, unsettled season and, finally, injuries to key players.

It’s one of those under the radar aspects of building a good system based list, that losing a few players like Ellis & Butler, who are in no ones best 22, can really bite when injuries and form hit a bump in the road.

You can tell they are a bit off, Dimma looks a bit panicky in interviews, almost like he can’t get his laptop working or something.

Real weird how they were a “systems based” team when they had something approximating their 22 in but now they have talent out they’ve decided to swap over to not doing that.

Almost like it’s a huge steaming pile of BS.

AFL have stood down Cleary because he exposed a quarantine breach?

Because he breached confidentiality…even though she had already been named.

AFL were happy to name McKenna without caring what happened to him when they did.

They signed away their rights to be called ‘journalists’ when they joined AFL media.

They are ‘communication specialists’ pushing whatever current agenda the AFL wants at the time.

Suck it up.

McKenna should sue.

So the afl position is: they stood him down because as an employee his obligation is to the afl before his obligations as a journalist…
Says it all really. Right out of the Murdoch ‘journalist’ handbook.
