In a joint media release of 26 April 2019, Frydenberg, McKenzie and Hunt announced funding of $15 million for Victoria Sport, a Melbourne hub for sports research and development.
- its functions include evidence based research tackling anti-social behaviour, promoting inclusion and enhancing participation by women and minority groups.
Collingwood Football Club is a joint Partner in the Hub, along with Monash University.
IIRC there is an ongoing Senate inquiry into the sports rorts
