He has had multiple chances and was taken under Boak’s wing after his last incident… Very slim to nil chance. He won’t be welcomed back.
Apparently coming back to training in the next week or so and they are hoping he plays SANFL by round 3 or 4. Might just be spin from Port though

That absolute brick outhouse draftee is debuting this week for them, Lachie Jones. They’ve dropped Ladhams.
Not too many 18 year old draftees come through looking this ready to go physically.
Well, in the sense that he’s not likely to get out bodied easily, anyway. Not sure if he’s liable to blow up aerobically lol.

He was garbage against Norwood last week. Couple of squibbs and disposal was average. Very surprised at the call up as he looked a mile off it

Yeah I remember as the draft approached last year and we were all kind of looking through the profiles and videos of the top 20 touted players, Jones really appealed to me.
Strong, good overhead, tackles well, appeared to be a bit of a lead by example type and seemed to have a good hoof on him. That’s just off highlights videos though do you would have seen far more live I’m sure.
And we actually had a need for a half back for once too haha.
But yeah, he was always going to Port I suppose.
Certainly looking forward to seeing how he goes though.

I saw that and thought it had to be syndesmosis. I was very interested to see whether we are the only club that gets that injury and somehow hed be fine.
