Cursed No. 6 pick. He’s the Crows version of Aaron Francis.

They had the money until their CEO ( then called Secretary) embezzled it.

Mrs Wim is from Adelaide, so they’re my second team.

It would be so fitting for Lyon to coach the Roos. He would then collect the set for the three most irrelevant clubs in the comp.

will he be playing AFL or local level though?
how bad is he? or just crows?

VFL IMO
His last 3 SANFL games he has had 5,5,4 disposals and just looks absolutely useless.
I’ve seen him a number of times and just can’t see any outstanding qualities that he brings to the table and I think he is just a bust. I can’t remember what his attributes were in his draft year or where he was projected to go but I’ve seen absolutely nothing to suggest he was worth more than a pick in the 80’s

Fark they really should have cashed in on Vic clubs interested during his 1st contract when there was talk he may return.

Hawks I think were into IIRC

Game Day Covid lovers. Come meet your maker.

Saw a crazy stat that this year, North have an average inside 50 differential of -20.5.

Only GWS in their first season have had a worse inside 50 differential since i50s were recorded as a stat

Very little to smile about for Roos supporters this year. This will be one such albeit in VFL surely.

I’d listen to Sophie Faulkner and Kerry Armstrong.

To lure Clako to the club you could go with quantity but for quality it’s not until you wheel out the big gun, Brian Mannix then the deal gets done.

Last night it was reported the board has put the approach for coach process has been put on hold, as they go all in on Clarko. Not a great idea to put all your eggs in one basket.

If they’d only stuck around another twenty years, their Nauru investment would have seemed genius.

There was no real Nauru investment; another scam, like the other one with the bloke who owned the electrial wholesalers, Vealls, I think it was. The Club needed $650,000 to remain viable but they had no rich supporters who would kick in. The Secretary started the rot, when he embezzled about $400,000 from player payments. Dyson Hore-Lacy just let him walk away as he thought the merger with Footscray would happen and the AFL would step in and fund it.

Those Fitzroy games versus the Bombers were nearly always classics.
