Collingwoods fan base has exploded since that winning streak last year.
They genuinely added 50% to there attending fan base due to that streak of close wins alone.
Last year the week after Jamie Elliott beat us they played Port and drew 40k at the G, now theyre drawing 65k+ for fun against any interstate side they host.
Theyre the biggest club no doubt before this year but what we’re witnessing now is the biggest bandwagon in history.
Every week for 12 months bar the Prelim has been one ■■■■■■ after another every game.
Its not sustainable.

We sustained membership through the Saga and littlesuccessover a sustained period of time, doubt many other clubs have the pull. If we win a final our membership base no doubt will expand but I don’t think it will contract as much as say Collingwood or Richmond.

They’re smashing records and it’s not even close. Game against Brisbane at Marvel could be another, maybe even this week.
That 2016 March to the G was inspirational in so many members deciding to renew. Congrats to the organisers and the marchers.

I don’t think lions or port can beat the pies at the G on GF day.
The only 2 teams that can beat pies at the G are Ds or us.
Ds will need to fix their offence and we are a long shot to play them in finals.

Effectively its 2 games, same as Geelong who now have the draw.
We really needed the W against Port.
If talking Top 4, we would have to win our next 2 (Adel & Gee).

He is still ducking for free kicks in the VFL and umpires/opposition aren’t taking his ■■■■. Collingwood supporters are the only ones that don’t see that Ginnivan is the one inviting the attention.
The Redman tackle on him that didn’t get a free after his ducking being highlighted in the media, that is one of my all time top moments in AFL.

While coach Craig McRae initially said a knee injury was the main problem for Maynard, the Magpies later clarified the defender will miss Friday’s Marvel Stadium game because of shoulder soreness.
A knee related shoulder injury. They must be getting their advice from out S&C guys.

Weren’t we a chance to get Elliot a few years ago and people said he was no good? I still can’t believe Bobby Hill is at Collingwood. Exactly the player they needed and he was as good at Essendon a year earlier.
We’re such a mediocre club. Lol.
Get your facts straight before you bag the club…we tried to get Hill but GWS wouldn’t trade him (and he was still under contract).
